Meet the Family

The Parish family have been at Walcot since 1957.  Robin spent his childhood here with his family.  In December 1997, Robin married Lucinda Rogers-Coltman and they have lived together at Walcot Hall since.

Top row from left: George, Nancy, Edward, Arthur. On bench: Monza the dog, Lucinda and Robin Parish

They have four children, five dogs, a guinea pig, three horses, several chickens and a couple of ducks.  Arthur (12), George (11), Nancy (9) and Edward (7) all roam around fairly free-range.  They have grown up with the house being run as a business and not just a family home, so enjoy meeting and greeting new visitors to Walcot.  Occasionally a guest might unwittingly come across them playing a game of hide and seek in the house, or stumble into one of their dens in the arboretum.  Waking up every morning to the view of the Long Mynd from our bedroom is a joy and a privilege.  We hope that you will get as much pleasure from your visit to Walcot as we do living here and invite you to share it with us.
