Walcot Hall
The Earl of Powis, Edward Clive, built a free standing Ballroom around 1800. It has since seen over two centuries of magnificent occasions and is now available for private hire for Balls, Concerts, Operas, Parties, Dances, Family Reunions, Weddings, etc. It is situated to the rear of Walcot Hall and can be approached either via the gardens or through a secluded, stone-flagged courtyard.
The Anteroom provides an intimate, cosy room for around 50 guests, whereas the Ballroom will accommodate 150 people. Combined, it holds a public entertainments license for up to 200 people, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 a.m. Monday to Sunday. No restrictions are placed on caterer or bar services.
You can hire the ballroom, anteroom and kitchen together or separately from £1,000 – £5,500 Prices vary on the timescale you need choose from 4-48 hours or more!
