Hidden in the Arboretum, amongst the splendid and ancient trees. The Gipsy caravan has no electricity or running water and is only accessible by foot and is therefore ideal for the agile and adventurous wanting to get away from it all.
The Gipsy Caravan is a cheerful Romany home with one double bed and a child’s bed hidden underneath. The living space has a cosy gas fire and a gas hob.
Bed linen is provided within the cost, however towels are not included. An initial water supply is provided, you will then need to carry your own water to top up the reserves during your stay. A short walk away there is a long-drop lavatory (or earth closet).
We recommend that you bring some sturdy footwear in case of poor weather, and also a torch.
Nearby are two secluded pools which truly are spectacular hidden gems waiting to be discovered. You can spend hours wondering around the Arboretum exploring. The Great Douglas Fir is a must, over 17ft wide and 100ft tall, it is a magnificent sight.
